I’ve been a friend and a fan of Janji ever since my cousin Dylan introduced me to Mike Burnstein, one of the co-founders, a few years ago. They make globally inspired running gear, gleaning inspiration from a different country each season, and donate 5% of proceeds to clean water projects around the world. They also host Nomadic Run trips in places ranging from Vermont and Mexico City to Peru and Patagonia.
So when Mike invited me to write an article for the first edition of Janji’s Travelogue, I was an easy sell. (It didn’t hurt that I’ve been getting to sample their seasonal collections for the last couple of years.) Scroll on down to read how I use running to orient me in new places, and to get a glimpse of what the good folks over at Janji are up to.
